Winged in my desires I was meant to die in your arms With your hands tied up I am wrapped around your warm touch I will give it all to you All I ask Is a claim on your heart Will you die for me? I would give to you a thousand lives I am yours and you’re mine Down into the deepest hell my love Where I may hide and wait to eat your heart Drowning in your love and lust Come and claim your prize of my broken heart I’m a victim of your lust my love Come and claim your prize of my broken heart

Whip chains, I’m your candy cane Lick, twirling in your brain Rich, glazed, candy cane Strip twirling in your brain Drip, bling, I’m your wildest Fling Chime, my voice in your mind Snake, tongue, yum yum fun Fear pulsing in your ear Breathing Weaving My voice in your mind I call you, I call you May the night long shine I need you to be mine Whip chains, I’m your candy cane Lick, twirling in your brain Rich, glazed, candy cane Strip twirling in your brain Oh young souls of fervent flesh In me thou must abide Recite my name, Kiss thy ring Thy love and lust hereby Eternal love, external leather Whips and chains to tether Burn thy shame with fire and flame A cinders sharp to maim Bend thy knees, beat thy heart Sing for my name ever

about

1925-1988 is a delirious lockdown collaboration between Leon Radojkovic of Fortress Europe, and Scott Satherley of Auckland doom juggernauts Demons of Noon, working under the moniker Moonflower. The EP combines the cinematic Eastern European fervour and instrumental sophistication of Fortress Europe with the gothic Mama's & The Papa's vocals and weird poetry of Moonflower. The result is a primal and emotive psychedelic odyssey and ecstatic confrontation of existential angst, romantic longing and erotic mysticism.
